
The job of a construction worker is usually to perform various types of physical work on job sites. The tasks they need to handle include, but are not limited to controlling traffic that is passing near or on the construction site, cleaning the site to eliminate any hazards and preparing the terrain for the next process phase, activities based on specifications, plans and instructions, measuring, digging and other processes aimed at moving soil either manually or using excavators and other machines, using drills and other tools, either manual, electric or hydraulic.
Most construction workers work around 40 hours per week for the jobs in Denver Colorado and neighboring cities. Their work schedule is usually irregular and depends on the weather conditions and the demands of the current project. They work either outdoors or indoors, but as they work on constructing buildings, the indoor spaces are not climate controlled.
